Field Trips
First Sunday Birding
Meets the first Sunday of every month at Cottonwood Marsh, Walden Wildlife Habitat, just off N. 75th St. between Valmont and Jay Roads. Trip times are 8 a.m. - 11 a.m. (May thru September), and 9 a.m. - 12 Noon (October thru April). Beginners welcome - bring binoculars, snack & water. Dress for the weather. Just show up! No reservations needed.
Summertime Midweek Birding
The Wednesday Roadrunners are active mid-April, May, June, July, August & September. Leave at 7:30 a.m. sharp each Wednesday morning to bird a local "hotspot" and return at 10:30 a.m. Meet at East Boulder Recreation Center at the parking lot west of the tennis courts, 5660 Sioux Drive, off 55th St. between So. Boulder and Baseline Roads. Carpool is $1.00 to $2.00 (Depending on distance). No reservations needed - just show up. Bring binoculars, snack, & water. Dress for the weather.

Group Meetings
The Spring Meeting is held in early Spring with an informative birding program, refreshments and a time to "get acquainted" with other birders.
The Summer Picnic is held in July in conjunction with a morning bird walk in the foothills and a "bring your own" picnic lunch.
The Winter Holiday Party is held in early December with other birders to enjoy some wonderful holiday goodies. "Our social event of the year" and an opportunity to recap the year's wonderful birding events.Birdwatching Tips
