Visit some of the special places of Boulder County north and east of Boulder including Macintosh, Pella Crossing, Lagerman and other promising lakes. See waterfowl and raptors. Take part in one of the oldest Christmas Counts in the nation. Join one of the teams of 2 to 5 birders to count all or part of the day or count at your backyard feeder.   • DIRECTIONS to meeting places:
    *Walden Wildlife Habitat - off North 75th Street between Valmont and Jay roads. Meet at Cottonwood Marsh parking area.
    **East Boulder Recreation Center - 5660 Sioux Drive. Take 55th Street from either Baseline or South Boulder Road, Meet at west end of main parking lot.
    ***SAVERS parking lot at Table Mesa Shopping Ceneter off Broadway 1/4 block south of intersection of Table Mesa and Broadway.
  • CARPOOLING ON TRIPS: We would like to ask that all participants pay their carpooling fee up front to driver at the beginning of the trip. Many times at the end of trip we forget and hopefully this will help as gas continues to get more expensive. Please be prepared with the exact amount, and don't wait for driver to ask you for it. JUST DO IT. Thanks.
  • ON ALL OUR FIELD TRIPS: Always sign the trip sign-up sheet, bring water & a snack, binocular, hat, sunscreen, bug repellent, wear a hat and closed toe shoes. Be prepared for the weather. West Nile is still out there! Carpooling in city limits 1.00 , county-wide 2.00 or as listed to drivers. Call the leader if you need more information. Be prepared.
