GENERAL INFORMATION
WEST NILE IS STILL OUT THERE !!!!!! Please wear DEET bug
repellant on all BBC field trips. 20-30 % is good for adults and only 10% should
be used on children. 100% DEET is harmful to nervous system and should not
be used. At least three members of BBC had West Nile in 2003 - let's not have
a repeat!
For more information, visit "Fight the Bite" website at www.fightthebitecolorado.com or call the CDC West Nile Infoline at 888-246-2675
CARPOOLING ON TRIPS: We would like to ask that all participants
pay their carpooling fee up front to driver at the beginning of the trip. Many
times at the end of trip we forget and hopefully this will help as gas continues
to get more expensive. Please be prepared with the exact amount, and don't
wait for driver to ask you for it. JUST DO IT. Thanks
